On the one hand, this place is a vast and carefully designed complex, and on the other hand it places a person face to face with great civilizations that have reached us from the depths of thousands of years. The feelings that arise here are difficult to express in a single word. The museum is truly astonishingly impressive and rich in content. In my opinion, it should be opened as soon as possible. The more people become acquainted with this exposition, the more deeply they will understand the true essence of Islamic civilization and its great contribution to science and progress.

Yesterday we were in Samarkand, where we also received very rich historical information. Today, what we saw and heard has come together and formed a coherent and comprehensive picture. Such knowledge and impressions remain in a person’s memory for a long time and encourage deeper reflection and understanding. I wish Uzbekistan the Third Renaissance. May it be strong and enduring. Today your country is developing rapidly, and your people are eager for knowledge and education. I am confident that this progress will rise to an even higher level.

My impressions of the Center are very high. Today we also met with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. During the conversation a number of important issues were discussed. I was deeply impressed by the scale and significance of the work being carried out on the initiative of the head of state. Such large-scale and strategically important projects undoubtedly serve the future of the country. I believe that the contribution of the head of state to the creation of such unique and invaluable places will remain significant in the future as well.
