We spent more than an hour and a half here, yet it was far from enough. In fact, to fully explore this museum, one should set aside at least half a day.

This is because the museum plays a vital role in presenting the history of Islamic civilization. It clearly demonstrates that Uzbekistan has been one of the major centers of Islamic civilization.

It is especially important for both Muslims and non-Muslims to understand and appreciate the immense contribution that the Muslim Ummah has made to the advancement of human civilization.

However, my hope is that Islam should not remain confined to museums alone. We should also see its values reflected in everyday life and in practical achievements. Muslims should regain their leading position in science, technology, and development, and once again demonstrate the greatness of their historical legacy.

From this perspective, this museum is of tremendous importance. It shows the younger generation that Muslims were once leaders in the world of science. Muslim scholars made remarkable achievements in geography, the natural sciences, medicine, agriculture, and many other fields. That is why the significance of this museum is truly unparalleled.

I congratulate the leadership of Uzbekistan and its government on this important initiative. The attention being given today to the history of Muslims, the Islamic heritage, and the development of science and technology is essential for helping the younger generation understand these realities and rediscover the tremendous contribution that the Muslim Ummah has made to the advancement of science and technology.
