At the special headquarters of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, extensive discussions were held on further enriching and improving the “Second Renaissance Period” exhibition. The meeting addressed the inclusion of unique exhibits in the museum’s collection and the presentation of historical and cultural heritage samples through modern visual and scientific interpretation.

One of the great poets who has secured a firm place in the history of Uzbek literature is Turdi Faroghi. His literary heritage is considered a spiritual treasure of our people and a source of elegance in our poetry.

Among the unique artifacts created during one of the flourishing periods of Islamic culture the reign of the Seljuk dynasty (11th–13th centuries) this gold-plated silver jug holds a special place. It is believed that this work of art was produced between 1180 and 1210 in the region of Transoxiana or Khorasan.

In the history of Uzbek writing culture and calligraphy, the Timurid period holds a special place. Under the initiative and patronage of Amir Temur and the Timurids, the art of calligraphy flourished. Fields that had been neglected during the Mongol invasion were revived. In major cultural centers of the Timurid state such as Samarkand, Herat, Yazd, and Andijan, prominent schools of calligraphy emerged.
