A diplomatic correspondence sent from Central Asia to Europe in the 14th century has not lost its relevance even today. Lord John Alderdice, the UK Prime Minister’s Special Trade Envoy to Central Asia and Azerbaijan, who is on an official visit to Uzbekistan, visited the Center for Islamic Civilization. Eight years ago, the symbolic foundation stone of the majestic Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan was laid by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Over the past two years, construction works intensified, and today the grand complex stands fully completed, attracting the attention of the international community.
