Germany’s academic elite came face to face with history, science, and intellectual thought in Uzbekistan. Within the framework of the 46th General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia to be held in Tashkent on 26 January, an important visit took place showcasing the history of Central Asia and the scientific and spiritual heritage of Islamic civilization to the world. Accompanied by representatives of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, the leadership of the Olympic Council of Asia and a number of high-ranking international guests visited the Islamic Civilization Center, established on the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and through its exhibitions witnessed a vivid example of the harmony of history, science, and modern innovation.
