A facsimile of the Timurid Qur’an preserved in Iran is now in Uzbekistan!

In the New Uzbekistan, the preservation of national and Islamic heritage, its scholarly study, and its достой presentation to the global community have been elevated to the level of state policy. In pursuit of this noble goal, the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, built on the initiative of the President, serves not only to preserve historical memory, but also to revive it in a modern scholarly and educational context.

The Zoroastrian doctrine that emerged in ancient Khorezm and its sacred source the book Avesta occupy a special place in the development of world civilization. Today, this invaluable example of spiritual heritage, namely an Avesta page written in Sogdian script, is displayed in the Pre-Islamic Civilizations section of the exhibition at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.

Elephant-shaped legs, delicate geometric patterns, and a bronze vessel preserved through the centuries… The object you see in the image is not an ordinary household item. It is a rare work of art created in the 11th–12th centuries in the territory of Mawarannahr and returned to Uzbekistan from London. Today, it occupies a place in the exhibition of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, guiding visitors into the spiritual world of the First Renaissance period.
