According to Infora News, the First International Islamic Civilization Forum, held under the theme “The Path of Peace, Tolerance and Enlightenment,” has officially commenced in Tashkent, bringing together nearly 300 scholars, statesmen, religious leaders, and heads of international organizations from more than 40 countries. The publication describes the Forum as a prestigious platform for dialogue dedicated to the study of the rich intellectual and spiritual heritage of Islamic civilization, the preservation and digitization of cultural heritage, and the expansion of international academic cooperation.

Participants of the First International Islamic Civilization Forum, currently taking place in Tashkent, have proposed 10 global initiatives aimed at studying, preserving, digitizing, and promoting the heritage of Islamic civilization worldwide. The proposals include the establishment of a World Forum on Islamic Civilization, an international digital registry, a global digital library, an international award, a research foundation, an alliance of museums, and the development of an international Roadmap through 2030.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s initiative has brought together distinguished scholars and religious leaders at the First International Islamic Civilization Forum: “The Path of Peace, Tolerance and Enlightenment,” currently being held at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan. Among the participants is Sheikh Salih bin Abdullah bin Humaid, Grand Imam of Al-Masjid Al-Haram in Makkah.
