The Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan, Muradil Dzhumadilde uulu, visited the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan and noted that even walking around the 42,000-square-meter area once is not easy.
Nearly nine years ago, in the summer of 2018, a symbolic foundation stone laid in the heart of Tashkent embodied a grand vision. During those first historic moments of constructing the Islamic Civilization Center, established at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, it was stated: “The purpose of building this center is to study Islamic enlightenment and to convey the great heritage of our ancestors to the entire world.” Today, that vision has become a reality.
For anyone who enters the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, the very notion of time seems to lose its meaning. This impression was clearly evident during the visit of the delegation led by Kamal Kishore, Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Disaster Risk Reduction.
