Tashkent, Uzbekistan — One of the world’s leading magazines dedicated to travel and culture, Condé Nast Traveler, included the city of Tashkent and the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan in its list of the best destinations to visit in June in the article titled “The Best Places to Visit in June, From Route 66 to Uzbekistan.”
Central Asia has long held a distinguished place in global civilization, known for its great scholars, profound ideas, and rich scientific and intellectual heritage. Today, thanks to the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Islamic Civilization Center in Tashkent has become an important venue that showcases this invaluable scientific and spiritual legacy in a contemporary interpretation. In particular, in the Center’s First Renaissance section, the “Wall of Civilizations and Discoveries” features 3D mausoleums of prominent Sufi scholars such as Bahauddin Naqshband, Abdulkhaliq Gijduvani, Ahmad Yasawi, and Najmiddin Kubra, along with video presentations about their lives and contributions.
The Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, a place where Central Asia’s rich historical heritage harmoniously blends with modern technologies, is increasingly attracting the attention of foreign experts.
On the eve of March 8, an unforgettable educational visit was organized for the recipients of state awards and their mothers. They became closely acquainted with the examples of our national history, the images of great women, and the rich cultural heritage at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.
