Reading history in a book is one thing; feeling it is an entirely different experience. For guests visiting from Jordan, the Islamic Civilization Center built on the initiative and authorship of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev became precisely such a living space of history. Members of the delegation emphasized that through the exhibitions created at the Center, they rediscovered Uzbekistan’s millennia-long spiritual and scholarly path from a new perspective.

The Zoroastrian doctrine that emerged in ancient Khorezm and its sacred source the book Avesta occupy a special place in the development of world civilization. Today, this invaluable example of spiritual heritage, namely an Avesta page written in Sogdian script, is displayed in the Pre-Islamic Civilizations section of the exhibition at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.

Is it possible to come face to face with history and feel, in a single place, the environment of knowledge and spirituality shaped over centuries? A delegation of 20 representatives from the prosecutor’s offices of Central Asia and the South Caucasus found the answer to this question during their visit to the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, established at the initiative and vision of the President. The consistent presentation of historical periods, the cohesive content of the exhibitions, and their harmonious integration with modern technologies left a deep impression on the guests.

Members of the UAE delegation noted that during their visit to the Islamic Civilization Center they became closely acquainted with the legacy of great figures such as Al-Khwarizmi, Ibn Sina, and Amir Temur, and emphasized that this place fundamentally changed their perception of history.
